Hello Friday! I'm sure y'all are as excited as I am for the weekend! I'm going to plop myself by a pool and try and cool off. Lot's of fun and exciting things happening here with the wedding planning. I have also been feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious. I was sitting here this morning sipping my coffee, reflecting on the last week. I spent the week back in my home town of Los Angeles with my family and some of my bridesmaids doing a little wedding dress shopping! As I was sitting here reading this cute little book "Stuff Every Bride Should Know" I become flooded with gratitude and then lots of tears came pouring in. I'm so thankful for the friends in my life and family, who have been there for me through everything. This is a very special time in a girls life. I won't lie when I say I have been dreaming up this day since I was thirteen years old and now many years later, it's actually really here. It doesn't feel completely real yet, I hear the vows are when it feels the most real. While dress shopping with my girls in LA, a few of my bridesmaids gave me the sweetest gifts and I wanted to share them with you. I'm always on the hunt for cute gift ideas. These ring dishes are adorable and such great gifts, not only for bridal gifts but for any special person on any special occasion . The Mr & Mrs dish comes from East Of India, and the Love dish comes from Rosanna Inc. Love is spelled backwards on mine, I don't think it's suppose to be like that, but I love that it is flawed because so am I. Both these sites have lots of fun options for all different kinds of gift ideas. The cute little Bride book is by Michelle Park Lazette and can be found at Quirkbooks.com ! I also wanted to give you a quick peek into the first day dress shopping with my mom, sister, and bridesmaids. We started at Grace Loves Lace which newly opened up on Abbot Kinney. They are an Australian based company with some of the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen. As much as I loved them, I ended up going with a more formal gown that comes from Italy. Which was fitting since I'm half Italian. I will post about the dress I found after the wedding! Grace Loves Lace was always my place where I thought I would find my dress and had I been getting married with my feet in the sand on a beach somewhere, I probably would have choose the "Vida" gown which I had fallen in love with. I wanted to show you a sneak peak at one of the dresses that was so fun and something I never would get married in but would wear to my shower! I may go back and snag it for the Los Angeles shower if the budget allows it.
I hope these ideas were helpful for you if you're on the hunt for cute gifts! Click the buttons below to visit all of the goodies mentioned in this post! Have a fun and safe weekend. xo
